Jason Cormier, NMLS# 176957
Senior Loan Officer
I am a native of Portland, Maine, with my early adolescence spent a few miles from Sebago Lake in a small town called Raymond, Maine (the childhood home of Nathaniel Hawthorne for those keeping track). From there I moved to Northbridge, Massachusetts where I attended middle school then high school. In 2004, after three years on the Chestnut Hill campus and one year spent abroad in Paris, France, I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Boston College with degrees in Philosophy and Theology along with a minor in French.
I have been in the mortgage industry for more than ten years, with previous experience at Bank of America Home Loans, Reliant Mortgage, PMAC Lending Services, and Finance of America. You might also recognize my name (or voice) from my role as guest speaker on WBZ’s Family Financial Focus.
Being a self-professed math geek, I think I’m reasonably well equipped to assess my clients’ short and long term goals in the hopes of arriving at a determination as to what type of loan product will best serve them. By the same token, if it’s not in your best interest to refinance/purchase, I’ll be the first to admit it and hopefully help you understand why. I guess that’s the beauty of math…numbers don’t lie.
